I have only had a kebab 4 times.
1. About 5 years ago on a visit to the UK when I was very drunk.
2. About a month ago in Cheltenham when I was very drunk and it was the best food I had ever tasted.
3. Remembering #2 I had to try my local. I ate, I liked sober.
4. 3 days after #3 because I liked it so much.
So, granted I can not speak for other Kebab places. I do have to say I am a fan overall though. Anytime really, but let's face it, it is some of the best drunk or hungover food that a person can have. I like to know that I can walk a few blocks and pop into West Kebab and have one anytime I feel the need. Might be helpful to mention that they don't open until noon and the staff move kinda slow. Also, if you order the large it is a TON of meat. So, good value too. A fiver gets you more than you can eat, well, almost. -

I ordered a lamb kebab for £3;80 and that is the small one, sooooo very glad I did not buy the large!
It had the all the usual stuff you put with a kebab, but nah... i was not feelin it, I felt it got cold to quickly and just dry.
Yeah it shiny, polished and posh. I mean it is Chiswick after all, it gotta be up their with the rest of erm, plus it is probably the poshest kebab shop ever ive ever been in, even McDs is quite posh as well.
So no! I wont be coming here again, ill got to the one further up the high street, which was delicious, its a shame I forgot the name though. -

Tasty meaty treats. The Guy behind the counter hooked us up, he was very friendly and helpful as I had no clue what I was ordering. He gave us some American sized portions and said this is special for you. Awesome service!! We stood and wathced him cook the meats on the grill along with the flatbread, stuffed all sorts of goodies into the bread and handed us the box. We sat in and devoured our meal and found to it be quite delicious. As we walked out he gave us a smile and said goodbye.

I made the point to my friend who lives in the Chiswick that this kebab shop defines the area. The kebab shops in Morden never look like this. Shiny and polished, sort of posh really!
However, it still serves the usual kebab culprits. Average tasting. Not a patch on my favourite kebab place in Bayswater - Taza. -

This little place, is always there to tempt me on the way home from a night our while I'm waiting at the bus stop opposite! They have the usual kebabs, burgers and falafel, but their chips are sooooo yummy the best in Chiswick, really, and they let you have lots of sauce (I'm a complete sauce addict! So this is very important to me)
You know what to expect, delicious, cheap as chips (literally) coronary heart attack food, why oh why does it have to taste so good!!
